I haven't really thought about it. It makes my head hurt to think.😉

I feel your pain, Denny, lol.
It's nice to know others have conundrums as well. I think budgeting my time will be the biggest challenge, that and limiting the diversions.
Probably not too much happens until the Christmas decorations come down next week.
I plan to post progress "updates" here, if for no reason other than it might provide some motivation (i.e. kick my OGF-butt if no progress is regularly reported...please).

healey36,
Layout is pretty cool, you can get everything done in small steps. Whatever you have to do don't try to fix everything at once. Make a list of what you have to do and follow that list, one thing at a time. You would be surprised with little steps you will succeed it getting everything done. First step-Get started!!!

That's good advice, Dave. This is just the first in a string of iterative steps in the mass clean-up effort, i.e. I can't clean up the library/home office until I get the basement straightened up, organized, and some space made available. I think one of the first things I'm going to do is figure out where I can build some more shelving. I think things will fall into some order once, as you said, I get started.
Stay tuned...

Ordered a couple of medium-sized rolling shelf-racks...hopefully that will help with the basement clean-up. Should arrive today, so the effort begins shortly; gotta keep moving before the post-holiday black dog shows up.

I have never been one for making New Year resolutions; none the less, I have been inspired by what I have read in this thread. The one item that comes to mind is the following. We are almost completely moved in to our new house; although we are now living there. What I need to do is be vigilent is refuse to keep anything that I will not need. (I am tired of keeping that extra screw in a can, that short piece of wood, that short length of wire, the extra shoe lace, the T shirt that I may someday fit into, that half-completed project that I have held on to for 10 years. You get the idea. Alfred

OKAY ALFRED How's that working out for ya. Every time I try I fail miserably! Wife is starting to call me the King of Hoarders. LOL Curtis

I have but one resolution and I’ve kept it for a couple of years now…. pee before ya go. That’s it, that’s all.

Well, I've been staring at this thing for awhile, hoping to salvage a bit of it for a rebuild, but I built it too strong and couldn't get it apart in reusable form, so a quick tear-down with hammer and saw, then off to the incinerator. No time to mess around with stuff: This was the Christmas display tunnel/tree-stand project prototype built in 2022. The dimensions of the O-27 tunnel proved too tight and even the smallest of the wind-ups had a tough time running through it. We'll need to build a second one, redesigned with a somewhat wider tunnel. Sometimes you learn things painfully, lol.

Take one of those flight back to Nam like Walt and other suggested. Might get a good nights sleep one of these days.
