The Christmas Card was always one I liked and the one where Henry Winkler plays an uncle who flew to see his niece and traveled with a guy he met at the airport and ends up staying for Christmas at the nieces house. (Sorry I can't remember the name). They are the newest ones out that I like. Just saw the Christmas Card last night for the first time a couple years. Haven't seen the other one since it originally showed on Hallmark. I watch thee great American family Chanel more now. Hallmark went a little off the rails too much for me.

I have been binging on the hallmark channel the past few weeks watching some old ones and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the new ones. I do this every year and never get tired of it.

Also some others to watch are the 1951 version of a Christmas carol, The bells of St Mary with Bing Crosby.

The lady who plays his niece is a game show host now..

I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

My personal favorite is The Bishop's Wife with Cary Grant, David Niven, and Loretta Young with a terrific supporting cast. The special effects are dated, but the message is timeless.
If you have not seen it, please try to do so.

I was never a big Barbara Stanwyck fan, but Christmas in Connecticut is a pretty good film.

Tonight we watched from the Hallmark Channel a movie called “A Biltmore Christmas”. It was filmed at the Biltmore Estate mansion and featured some incredible Christmas decor. The story was a bit different and refreshing from the usual.
“A magical hourglass sends modern-day screenwriter Lucy Hardgrove to the set of the 1947 holiday movie classic "His Merry Wife!" However, before she can return to the present, Lucy must make things right or threaten to alter the future forever.”

I also liked the story line and would recommend the movie.

Just saw an interesting variation on the Lifetime channel. "Toying with the Holidays" 2021 movie. Story is similar to a Hallmark movie, but insread of trying to save the family farm, they're trying to save the family model train store. Enjoyed it.
