Here are a bunch of my cabin cars (the correct PRR terminology) on Panhandle 1. The roster is much bigger these days.
I'm not sure what they are called on other railroads. Wait, there are other railroads?

VietnamVet67, My favorite is the N5c porthole type. I have a post war Lionel PRR that I like to run mid-consist. After wondering about whether any passenger trains ever used a caboose, I did a quick search to find that they did not. (I was not surprised.) However, there was some mention that the PRR and B&O did use them on express/ mail trains AF3020 will likely have a definitive response . Alfred . The Pennsy did indeed use cabin cars on express baggage and mail trains. They were lettered for "Railway Express Agency".
I am planning such a train for the Panhandle (which actually did run there). It will have a number of RPOs as well.

I forgot to post this. The thread inspired me to do another caboose video with the latest collection in tow. Enjoy!
