I tripping and fell again. I say again because I fell the same time last year which landed me in the hospital for a week. The last fall was a lot worse. This time I fell flat on my face and now I have to go back to the eye doctor because they have to adjust my new glasses again.
Last year I fell on a large cat toy which caused massive swelling in my neck. It got filled with fluid and I could barely turn my head. The up side to that is they saw the bones had headed from when I broke my neck from a motorcycle accident a few years ago and the doctors put titanium rods in my neck.
They removed the rods, but I still have limited movement, but I can still drive, but I can't look up so if something is about to fall on my head I'm doomed.

I hope you feel better. This gravity crap really sucks. I was on the second step of house that was giving my club a donation and boom, I was on the ground. Hip and ribs bruised but ok now.

Seniors need to be very careful as to not fall. While I am still mobile I suffer from a bad back. When I do my 1/2 mile walk after dinner each evening I take a long a hiking pole as insurance. It really helps keeping you level and is insurance against a possible fall. Get well soon Denny and try using a hiking pole.

Maybe I should start using it in house as well.

Denny, Take care of yourself, and be cautious. Strickly adhere to the doctor's advice - and if there is any physical therapy involved, do it faithfully. Alfred

I fell a year ago September in my back yard and broke my leg. This September, I fell in the Veterinarians office, hit my head, concussion. My wife fell in the house an hour before that. Both of us have had lots of close calls in the past month. My arthritis is so bad in my knees and hips it driving me crazy and yesterday at work I could not walk without a walker. Then my hands and feet got that pins and needles feeling and I went home early and slept from 330PM till this morning at 8am from pain killers and muscle relaxers.

All the best from all of us, Denny - hope you’ll make a swift recovery. We have to think like pilots I guess - watching for good landing spots as we go. 😉 Dave
