Looking good. Are you planning a lift bridge?

Looking good. Are you planning a lift bridge? Possibly a bridge, but maybe just a lift out section for the time being. I did a bridge on my last layout and it was a pain to get lined up right lol.

Lance, Good to have that step finished. What are the dimensions? Not that size is the most important aspect; however, knowing it gives me a perspective. Good success on the track plan. Alfred

Looks really good, Lance. I like the blue walls. They make a great background for the trains.

Starting to mock up some track work. Outside is 063 and inside is 054. Waiting on a few more switches to show up.

Lance, Good idea to have a track plan in mind, and to use large radius curves. When I built my current layout in 2005/6, I took tracks I had out of the box and started laying them without a plan. If I were to do it over again, I would have a track plan. None the less, I enjoy operating the layout with its many features, and doing the fixes, modifications, and expansions. Alfred

Remember to run those trains each way and try everything including small and large to make sure it will all work. I had a friend who SAID he did but we found out he did not run them long enough to expose any track problems. HARD LESSON for him!
