.... I am hoping to also find a tinplate christmas train set from several years ago that we saw last year at the fire hall in Ellicott City. I really fell in love with it... Is this the one you're talking about? or was it all red?

I can't believe we just posted the same train at the same moment! "Personal Jinx!" You owe me a Coke.

Oh. I really want to incorporate EZ-street track to my layout and have a few cars running with the trains. I am stealing that one from you Emile. I love how you did that on your layout.... I have the track and bought the yellow taxi car but didn't have the room for it on this years layout.

I have the track and bought the yellow taxi car but didn't have the room for it on this years layout. I agree with this as well. I don't have room on my current layout but someday, maybe on a future layout, I would love to include superstreets. I say this even though it does present a more toy like or postwar type feel as opposed to more accurate protopical modeling of streets which I would prefer. Now at the risk of further inflating any already sky high egos on other forums, I have seen superstreets made to look more realistic and possibly even scratch built into a winding country road, which to me is terrific, as well as custom vehicles. Well, on second thought I guess excellent work rightfully earns the maker a large ego. 😂 Edit: EZ streets, superstreets, what's in a name? Same thing as far as my post goes.

EZ streets and super streets are the same thing from different brands. The only difference is a noticeable variation in color. I think they make a great addition and a fun point of interest on a layout. Modification of the cars can be fun as well. Emile
