If it’s an iPhone, you can reduce the size of photos by turning off Live Photo. Live Photo is basically a short video and makes the size (MB) much larger. When you are looking at your photos in the photo app you will se a LIVE button on the top left. Hit that and select OFF. The image will instantly be much smaller and you be small enough to upload to the forum.

On my desktop computer I use ‘Imgur’.
It’s free. You set up an account and you can just drag your photos into it.
-When you want to post a photo you click on the picture and on the right side there is a list of links for the picture for different purposes.
-Choose the link for ‘forums’.
-Back to OGF, click the ‘BBCode’ tab at the bottom of the post screen. Then paste the code you copied into the post.
-Click on the‘Preview’ tab and you’ll see the picture you added.
-Create the post and the picture will show up larger in the forum.
It’s a lot quicker to do it than it was to describe it.

If you host your movies on YouTube I believe it will automatically resize it and give you a link for sharing. There are several reasonably priced software out there I use MOVAVI Video Editor.

Wow Brian what a difference. Now it looks great but intelligent level is too big for me to use on my android. I assume you have to download the program and then THINK of how to use it. That is where my problem arrives. I can shoot the picture and download the app but after that it would be a step by step process for a teacher. Real problem is I LOVE the results! Guess I can dream.

Brian
I am going to give this a try but I have one question. So only the pictures stored on IMGUR site is what can be posted? Or in other words I would have to store all my pictures to that site. That is a major problem in my honest opinion. Especially with my wife's apple phone which she is still frustrated with (even though I got her a new iPhone for valentines day and the old one was only a year and a half old), trying to get pictures off the phone and into the computer without using icloud. Boy do I dislike Apple and their products. Sorry do not mean to offend anyone but the greedy Job's really ruined apple by using propriety equipment and software.
Curtis
Thanks again Brian as even I can follow your instructions. MAJOR MAJOR HELP!!!
