My favorite scene is also one of the main design features of the layout: my model of Horseshoe Curve outside Altoona, PA as it looked in 1952.

Here is a photo driving along the access road toward the gift shop. Click on the photo to see a larger version.

And here is a track level photo showing the scale of the mountain scenery. Again, click on the photo for a version you can actually see.
