Aired yesterday. Is it worth a watch, any news?

I really wish I could say that I would be interested, as I once was, but with all of the qaulity issues that they have dumped on us, I am not. Until the Big "L" straightens out their act, I am out of this portion of the market. So, Ryan & Dave can put on all the shows they want when they should be focused on correcting their quality issues as a priority.

In a word...
NO.
Lionel isn't doing themselves any favor with this. While I don't mind some silliness, the webcast has become a waste.

Too long and boring. I tried but just couldn't stay with it. Any thing of interest in it?

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to stay the course through these "shows" and I didn't with this one. Lionel does produce some worthwhile media content, such as the recent videos from Dean, the occasional Notch 6 interview and the annual TCA speech/product presentation. I really did not hear anything of interest to me in what I listened to. Even Lionel's Facebook page is more informative.

Mike Reagan set the proper tone for product videos when he was at Lionel: always very informative and a nice easy-listening approach. While I wouldn't expect everyone to be exactly like Mike, somebody at Lionel needs to take Dave aside and let him know there's a time-and-place for humor. But these shows aren't the right venue for it when it's all attempted humor vs. informative content. People's time is valuable, and Mike had a great way of delivering high value content... and that's sorely missing today. BTW, although Notch6 isn't a Lionel production, it too suffers from being a loooooong, 1-hour fireside chat, when the content could often be netted out to 10 minutes max. Good communication is becoming a lost art in business today. Sadly, it is what it is.

I agree....watching that video is painful. Lionel should stick to their day job, making trains.......not jokes!

I don't watch them anymore. When they have some meaningful to communicate besides this nonsense I'll start watching again.

Against my better judgment, I skimmed through the video with occasional stops to see what was actually going on. What a blankin' waste of time!!! Who's kidding who here??? With all the "issues" that have surfaced this year, producing a show like that with such silliness is downright insulting to the people paying top-notch dollars for these products. I can laugh and be silly with the best of them. But guys.... treat your audience with some modicum of respect. Do we really need to watch a product manager choking on a spicy hot chip to the point where she's tearing up? Really? I guess I have a different perspective on what's considered professionalism. And this show missed that mark by a few galaxies and light years. Now I fully understand why Lionel's factory can't get its colors correct.

From what you guys are saying I'm glad I didn't see it. I miss watching Mike Reagan. Amen. And I think it’s best if we move on (and hope for something better, this year or next).
