Probably no extra credit for me either because there is very little YELLOW in this but the sparing use of it on the road name and engine numbers sets off the rose red and gold on the rest. This is a Legacy E8/9 set from a few years back in the old Frisco "Racehorse" livery. Nice engines that had no faults out of the box (I'm happy to say):
P.S. Bright silver trucks are the next best thing to whitewalls, IMHO. Now I'll shut up because I am running out of any YELLOW examples.

I had such a warm feeling about all these pictures and since I own most I had to go break them off their parking spaces either on the layout or shelf to run them. Great Topic and Great engines. I love my UP for sure. They had to always have the biggest and best. One missing is the DDX40A. Another great one that I had to run. THANK YOU GUYS.

I’ve been meaning to get a photo of this stove. It’s at our local General Store but certainly was designed and maybe used at some point to heat a train car or caboose.  |
