My first layout was named long dog rr. We have three dachshunds so it was more or less named after them. My current build is named CDNF. Which stands for Can't Decide Never Finished and yes my wife helped come up with the name. Both layouts built in what we call the traincave.
That has the makings for a great logo.

The Pennsy-Zephyr runs between Baltimore and Annapolis and is named after my dogs: "Pennsy" and "Zephyr". That’s what’s on my GOLF hat that I won last year on the Sweet sixteen Model train poll. Thanks EMILE, after wearing it all summer I have more wins at GOLF over my BROTHER so it must be LUCKY!!!!!!

Don't have an official name for mine, if I did it would be the R&R RAILROAD. Rest and Relaxation Railroad. I know some never rest with their railroad, but you should enjoy it.

Adam, our approach is similar to putting together a Broadway Play. The trains are the actors, but without outstanding scenery, they would be like actors on stage alone reading a script. Boring!!!!
I do start with the track plan. But once that is set, I make a detailed plan with all of the sceenery depicted on the plan. Anyway, this approach works for us.

Adam, I use Adobe Photoshop to do logos, etc. I think that the more talented designers probably use software like Adobe Illustrator but I’ve never been able to master that one. Let me know if you need any help designing your logo. Emile

The Pennsy-Zephyr runs between Baltimore and Annapolis and is named after my dogs: "Pennsy" and "Zephyr". Here's a picture of my Black Lab Zuke. He was 10 years old in this photo, and he's now 12. After the Dunham Studios crew wrapped up their first day of placing the layout gates and some of the layout platforms in place, Zuke was already exploring "beneath the layout" and staking claim to his new doghouse.

Let me know if you need any help designing your logo. Emile That helps. There are some logo making apps that are fairly restrictive (you pick the badge style, pload a photo, etc). Sounds like you are using a good old drawing application which give you much more freedom of design. O will give it a shot and will let you know if I need any design help. I appreciate the offer.

Love the personal touch with highlighting the pups that bring so much joy to us. I remeber well Elile bring home their sister yellow labs and how happy they Jennifer and Emile are with the. I remember Wood bringing home his black Lab Zeke at Chirtmastime. I remwmber David posting photos of his beloved black lab.
The train tie-in for us is Bailee and Cooper came home to us during the York Meet Week three years ago next month.

That has the makings for a great logo. I really like that logo! Wonder how we could include some sort of train or tracks? Maybe faded crossbuck in the background?
