Thanks to OGF member RJ, it dawned on me after his posts about the new Menrads Christmas Tree that Our Christmas in the City had no "official" Christmas Tree. Totally unacceptable and a big oversight when I planned the City.
Well now, that was corrected today when I installed the Menrads Christmas Tree within the City. It arrived yesterday and I wasted no time in converting an area for the new Tree. The City Ochestra and Chorus was on hand for the Lighting Ceremony. A grand time was had by all.

I should have picked up on this a long time ago when I saw for the first time your Epic Christmas Video, Part 1. It showed several shots of your Christmas Tree. But, that was before I planned our new layout.

The thing I like about this the most is it has made such an important upgrade on a short dead end street. It also represents the first colored lights on the City side of the layout. Super pleased that RJ brought this Christmas Tree to my attention. His wife surprised him with one of these trees. Great find.

No, Forrest, it is part of their regular Lemax Village collection. It may be an exclusive for Menrads.

That is a beautiful centerpiece in your layout Brian. I think it makes it special that this has colorful lights.

Yes, Walter, the Mayor and the entire City Council was on hand as well as many local dignataries. Elizabeth, for all of her good work for the City residents over the past year, was selected to throw the switch that lit the Christmas Tree.
It was a most exciting evening.

that is so nice and I watched a video of it even has holiday music. that is a nice addition to your layout ptc and so do you feel it sort of adds color wise to the white effect you had prior?
