I guess I'm the only one in for a jacket! In default of (or in addition to) that, Oxford and Tee for me, please. I'll need a badge holder for York - next year. I think there has been multiple Members with interest in a Jacket. PTC has a couple good outlets for quality custom apparel in low minimum quantities. Expect further announcements in this area in the coming week or two. I'd be in for a jacket for sure. Emile

Love BOTH versions of the hat!!! Additionally, a polo as well as a sweatshirt and jacket could easily find their way into my clothes closet. David

I would gladly promote OGF at the Allentown ATMA train show on November 9-10 this year -- wearing a hat and sweatshirt at my 3-table booth if those items are available in that timeframe.

I'm in for a polo, but would prefer darker colors as I need a bib nowadays. Perhaps the royal blue in the logo or black.

An Update on the OGF hats: New Era will only license custom Hats for Sports Teams and Police and Fire Companies. I proposed that the OGF would be willing to form a Bowling Team but they didn't except that idea. Baseball and Football Teams only. We're looking at other sources including one that seems to be highly similar to New Era but under a different name. Gold and Black Hats: The biggest holdup is our desire to have Gold hats with Black brims. This is apparently an uncommon combination except in Pittsburg Steelers areas. The resulting look is so unique and eye-catching that we're determined to hold our ground and find exactly what we want at a reasonable price. Camouflage hats: There are lots of alternatives on this one so it's a matter of finding a quality hat at a reasonable price. My only concern is that I don't really know which pattern I should be looking for. The New Era Army Camo in the mockup looks good but most of the other companies don't have that pattern. There is summer and winter as well as digital camouflage and A few varieties of Mossy Oak and Real Tree, whatever that means. The Mossy Oak Tree/Sticks looking pattern seems to be more popular than the Mossy Oak Tall Grass looking pattern. I could use a little input here. What should I be looking for in the camouflage pattern hats? Which pattern is best for our purpose of having a cool looking hat? Any advice would be welcomed. Emile

Emile,
Both Realtree and Mossy Oak come out with new patterns every year. It's mostly marketing stuff! Something like Realtree "Edge" will be fine. Ask Laz or me if you need more guidance.

I need more guidance. Is it fair to classify Realtree and Mossy Oak as "Hunting" camoflague and others as "Military" camoflague? If so, should I be looking for "Hunting" camoflague? Also, I did the Logo in Black and Gray. Would it be better to do it in different shades of whatever camoflague we end up with? One caveat here might be that more color variety in the logo would likely mean a more expensive embroidery charge. Thanks for your input. Emile

Emile Hunting Emile... the Armed Forces have their own (copyrighted) digital camo patterns. The camo schemes mentioned above are hunting patterns designed to blend into the forest. The newer patterns have various shades of green, brown, and gray, while the patterns resemble leaves, branches and various forest undergrowth. Most logos are black, gray or brown... and designed to be understated.

Emile,
Black and grey for the logo is fine and muted enough to be a good hunting hat. Yes, your correct that Realtree and Mossy Oak are hunting camo patterns.

I should have something lined up by the end of the week. Emile
