Something a little different. From my hometown were I grew up in my Teen years is the C&EI Roundhouse. Also a little History lesson. 1st picture is of setting the turntable, then a couple shots of engines on the turntable. The final one is during the 50s the roundhouse was sold as the facility was no longer needed since introduction of Diesels. Tuthill Spring company bought it and used it as a factory making car springs, Disks and Harrows for John Deere and other heavy steel replacement items. The turntable was removed. The pit was still there into the 70s before it was filled in. The original doors were also still in place as well as the wooden block flooring. Today, the front and sides still look the same as they did in early 1900 when built.

PRR K4 streamlined by the Altoona shops. There were 4 built to pull the "named trains" (aside from The Broadway Limited). This one is pulling the "South Wind".

I am so so sorry I'm late to the party for this one!!! Last week into this past Halloween weekend, I was very busy. But I wanted to at least post a couple photos of Corner Field Model Railroad Museum.

The General came to our town and was glad to see it, tour it and get some pictures. The last picture is the postcard souvenir they gave to everyone that took the tour through the car to see the displays and diorama depicting "The Great Locomotive Chase".
The General photographs well! Does anybody know the souvenir photo location? The trees and the trestle seem to be common to all of them. I've had this book for decades.
