We all knew this was going to happen and tonight it did. For sale for only --$300.00. Now for the suckers on ebay its up to $405.00, can we say $450.00?
It's the only Menards engine on ebay, for now!! I'm keeping mine, hoping to get a dummy unit in the future.

Wow! I hope that guy conveys to potential buyers this is a Beta product, and not a tried and true product yet. He probably won't, I'm afraid!!

I think Brian has a bridge for sale too. Crazy what some people list on eBay.

I checked on my Menards Army caboose with gun turret. Not one listed.
Checked for Tide tank cars and there is one listed for $59.99 plus shipping.

Ebay is the land of rip off prices. Too true. And part of that is that it is also the place to get items you just can't find elsewhere, which I have recently done - a couple of Lionel IR153 signal controllers. However, these weren't at extortionate prices but they came from a reputable, long-established dealer and worked exactly as described.

I've bought some decent things of Ebay.

The Law of Supply and Demand at work in the marketplace. I agree with Brian but I say there are two forces at work here, 1) Supply and Demand and 2) A Fool and His Money

I looked for Menards on E-bay but couldn't fined the loco. I don't know much about their trains but they sure do make a lot of them. They seem to filling a void left by Williams. Some of the prices seem very high on the Bay, guess people are trying to make a buck on the resale of the buildings and cars. Don
