Since it gets cold quickly here in the north country, I will get the exterior lighting done shortly. We do a lot of it including a 10 ft. Blue Spruce. I bet your Blue Spruce is beautifully decorated with lights, Brian. I like seeing Pine Trees with Christmas lights; unfortunately, you don't see too many of them decorated any more in neighborhoods.

Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving. The last few years have been inconsistent about a layout. I have done none for a couple years, then the last two years I just did my small layout with standard gauge tinplate and one year with an additional o gauge loop inside the standard gauge loop. I haven't done my bigger Christmas layout is several years. Might do a modified version of that this year. We'll see. Definitely the small layout at least though.

I usually start right after Thanksgiving and try to get everything up by 1 DEC. I leave it all up until the first snowfall of the New Year (usually a few days after new Year's Day). If no snow then down by Epiphany. I also have two permanent layouts up so I get to enjoy my trains all year long. And I decorate the train room as well.

We celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas, so it has been a wonderful Christmas season and it continues despite all of the issues we all have had to face this year.

Usually the day after Thanksgiving. This year, everything was up by 11/6. It was nice having the extra time surrounded by it all.

I like to have my Christmas layout done by Thanksgiving so I start the planning right after I take my Halloween layout down. The house decorations for Christmas don't come out until the weekend after Thanksgiving.
