Forrest, as President of your railroad, the trains can depart wherever you say.

Uh oh. Sounds like the Fall start date for the Train Palace just got put on hold. Be sure of the delivery date. I know another person whose wait time for Tim consumed months. Beautiful when received of course. Bill, yes, still gathering information and we have some family events and some projects I need to do for Mom in Phoenix. But the Train Palace is a go for sure. I’m not going to rush it. I’m told the lead time for the Mianne is six weeks. That’ll be perfect and I’ll build it between my other projects. There’s lots to do being a powerful Railroad Baron!

There is one other thing that I passed up and now regret.

Sure was a great time. This is Saturday. We closed the joint I heard the crowds were non-existent. Makes you wonder if the 2 day meet should be Thursday / Friday and eliminate Saturday all together. I know you get the complaints from the few that say they can't get off work but they sure don't seem to be coming on Saturday anyways.

Marty, I like the idea. Thursday and Friday, and forget Saturday.

I've never gone on Saturday, always a travel day for me. Letting the public in is a bust, guess the Eastern division hasn't figured out how to get the word out. The crowds are worse at the Amherst show in Jan.
I will announce now this will be my last York show for a long while. The thrill is gone, I don't find anything I want or need, and the money I save by not going I can throw at the layout.

To be honest guys the place was picked over by 4PM Thursday. Friday noon there was really no product at good price anymore. Saturday, the dealers took it home. No dealing on prices and really the most wanted items stayed back at the shop. The dealers are the ones killing York.

Yes Thursday and Friday are the only days I go now, so that would be great for me. As far as the Public being there it makes a few more bucks for the ED so its a win for them. I have my Bro and a friend that shows up all the time. They like it and for ten bucks a good deal to walk around and get some things they need. have a great day with a nice dinner to follow and we talk trains. Gotta like that.

I saw a few dealers packing up Friday afternoon before closing. What would make it more interesting, and I hope this happens that the bandit meets comeback to close to their former glory when the show goes back to two days.
