The week's OGF Star of the Week is an active O-Gauge enthusiast for a very long time, Joe (joeh), He recently joined the OGF after being un-welcomed at another forum. Their loss, big gain for the OGF. In addition to model trains, he also collects Christmas memorabilia.
Please congratulate Joe.

Welcome Joe. Sorry about that happened to you on the other forum. We're all here because of things like that.

Fellow members, thank you. Yes I am into Christmas...4 trees, 2 of them with trains running under them. Two of the trees were put up this week, since we will be visiting our daughter's family (2 grandkids) in the Boston area for a full Thanksgiving week. We are traveling from Philadelphia via Amtrak. As far as the other forum goes, it would seem civil that they might inform a person why they had their posting privileges taken away. In hindsight, I'm glad they did...I emailed Eddie, and he told me about this group. I now have another reason to look forward to attending York...namely flashing my yellow OGF badge at the OGR booth (thanks Emile for sending same).

Joe, Welcome to OGF! Congrats on being the Star of the Week. We love everything Christmas here. Some of the Christmas threads have already started and more to come in the weeks ahead.

Joe, congratulations on being the OGF Star of the Week! We love Christmas here on the OGF. Christmas and O Gauge trains go together like Laurel and Hardy or Abbot and Costello. We will be doing a lot of Christmas celebrating here. Ken (strains) is our Father Christmas.
