Yes, they are nice in red. Any layout with freight trains needs at least one red caboose, right? 😉

This is certainly a nice gesture, thanking the Diamond Members. I would also like to thank the many who were unable to reach the $100 mark. Multiple smaller contributions were gladly received and pushed us over the top. Thank you to all who contributed. The overwhelming response has been amazing. In thanking members via email I received response that were showered with gratitude for the structure of this forum. We have hit a sweet spot here and we will do everything to continue the same journey in the O Gauge Forum. Thank you all so much!!! You know I model Amtrak, Santa Fe and the CP. The pictures below are trains I LOVE. Unfortunently, they cannot be modeled because they have not been developed by the manufactures or my O46 inch curves are too narrow. There’s a truly bountiful crop here but for purely sentimental reasons I like this one, posted by Denny:

For nostalgia's sake here's a few more South Shore examples, all running on street lines mostly in South Bend or Michigan City. It's been so long since I've been to either place that I cannot recall exactly where they were except that the La Salle hotel was in South Bend:

Sorry I'm late to this but we were busy this weekend and I didn't see this until now.
Thanks for making us Diamond Members the Stars of the Weekend. Congratulations to all of my fellow Diamond Members.
It's no secret that my favorite railroad is the New York Central.
Honorable mention goes to the Florida East Coast which is the railroad in my adopted home state
And another honorable mention to the Long Island Railroad since I grew up on Long Island. Someday I will add some LIRR passenger trains to my roster.
