I am still stunned by all of this. One of my conclusions is the Toy Train manufactures simply do not make a large enough profit to command a significant sales price for passing the company on. 40 years of operation, an established name in the industry and nobody is willing to pay the price. There may be other complications Wolf is facing that we do not know about. It is a huge loss for our hobby. Will we ever see another Mike Wolf build a model train manufactiuring company??? " There may be other complications Wolf is facing that we do not know about." Well Wood this might just be the case. I was told today there were a lot of electronics issues that had originated in China concerning train control circuit boards. Apparently the little buggers decided to change the boards themselves...an issue that is trying to be corrected. Also similar problems with the TIU's and AIU's. There may be a new hand held remote in the offing. Issues with those originated in China as well. Hence the smartphone app being introduced. Apparently the electronic circuitry is not lumped in with the tooling for the trains, etc. We shall see what transpires...ONLY THE SHADOW KNOWS!! Gary.
