The 4 Aces! That is so cool. Is it the 3rd Rail version? (There must be others but I'm not sure.)

If you squint, the layout is mostly green. This is my version of the D132 Display layout. At this point, the basic layout is about 22~25 years old. Originally made for/with my oldest son.. Now, sadly, I'm the only one that uses it... MTH Chicago & Northwestern E4 Hudson with blackened drivers. Charlie

Terrific version of the Lionel Display layout, Charlie. Hasn't changed a bit since I last saw it.

Northern Lights, some green here. Hey Brian, that is what I was talking about yesterday. Placing the small lights (with colored gels) in the background to provide different colors. However, you seemed to have achieved the effect without the small lights... I think. How are you getting the "glow" of different colors? Is it a product of the paint or did you overcoat the color with some kind of colorized material? Charlie

Charlie, the Northern Lights are all back-lit by a single LED tube fixture. It is 4 ft. long and mounted at the base of the frame. It does a fantastic job.
