The voting for the Car Show has ended and a drawing was held this morning for those who selected the Best in Show winner, the 1935 Studebaker Commander Roadster. And the winner of the Grand Prize for this contest is none other than: The Big Crab Cake, Emile.He will receive a River Leaf OGF sign.
Thanks to all who participated. There will be an appropriate sign next to each model in this contest that will be identified with ribbons for the winners. Here are the placements: Best in Show: 1935 Studebaker Commander Roadster 2nd Place: 1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta 3rd Place: 1958 Chevrolet Impala 4th Place: 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible

Car Show contest was a lot of fun. I will post photos of this project when we finish it. What started out as a small project really blossomed. It took the area from the sidewalks along 42nd Street to the railroad tracks and really elevated it.

Not a suprise to me. That Stud roadster was way beyond beautiful. When Pierce Arrow put their fingers on that car it was going to be special. Congrats to Emile.
