One of Harry Hieke's clients asked for a super upgrade to this GGD set including light weathering, window blinds, head rest covers and more. Take a look.

Wow. Just getting those cars apart is a feat in itself. But very nice 3 dimensional detailing on the window blinds. You can get them as printed sheets but the effect is nowhere near as good.๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

That GGD set of Passenger Cars are very nice. Harry's additions to them look really good. A nice subtle touch of weathering as well.
Gary.

Another outstanding job by Harry. The headrest covers are out of this world! I think that headrest covers like that were made by Keil Line and are still available from Scale City Designs (who also do Texas Special and UP versions). Wherever these came from, it's the cutting them out and applying them, one by one, that amazes me.

Great job! Is it just me or do the passengers look like the train just took off at 100 mph??!!

Great job! Is it just me or do the passengers look like the train just took off at 100 mph??!! You are exactly right. The explanation is that GGD use their own in-house brand of "Little People" who are all slumped backwards in their posture - as if they were on what I think are called "recumbent" exercycles. So yeah, they look like g-force is being applied in spades. I prefer my passengers a little more upright/normal - unless of course they have partaken from the onboard cocktail selection. Those who weren't on the old forum might not have seen my favorite passenger, the ignominious "Vera Bunker" who fell over in the course of being glued in place on a bench seat and came to rest in what I decided was a perfect pose:

The headrest covers are decals that Harry gets from a supplier. โThey are small and are applied vertically w/o backing, a little tricky,.
When Harry says , โA little tricky,โ beware, you donโt want to go there..

Looks good, thanks for sharing Brian.
Always nice to see a detailed interior, especially the observation cars where the interior is usually more visible.
