I have a small "collection" of RCA Strato-World Radios that I have been working on to get operational. So far I've gotten these two working. Those are beautiful radios Skip. The World background on the inner lid is cool. Love the older stuff for touches like that. My parents brought back a Telefunken and stand from Germany in 1959. I wish I had that baby today. Gary. I agree those are fine radios. My Zenith was a later model, a 1971 Trans-Oceanic, which also had a world map guide in the cover. Or at least it did the last time I saw it, around 1975, which was before a burglar paid us a visit and then probably hocked it for a lot less than it was worth. Grrrrr. Anyway it looked like the one below.

I just finished my Great Aunt's radio from 1958 I think. It's a all American five radio, being it has five tubes.
