Yup, Charlie. We did a much better job with the installation of the GCT with the new layout. The last layout, I had to force it into the scenery as it came out after the fact. This time, I built the City around the GCT.

I also had a hard time finding Brian's name in the article. I knew from the table of contents and from the picture that Brian wrote the article but his name really blended into the picture and was very difficult to find.

It took me a while to find your name, too, Brian, but one look at the photos and I knew it was your layout.
Brian & Elizabeth's GCT is most definitely the focal point, just by virtue of its size. The base it sits on is huge; I know, because I hauled it back up to Maine for them from York 2 years ago when Harry finished the upgrades. When Harry and I loaded it into my car, there wasn't room for much more; good thing I sold most of the trains I brought to the meet.
