I have never seen that shooting stance before. Prone, sitting and standing were all I ever did. Today, if I ever got into that crouch, I might never get up. I know, but what's comfortable for her and a position she can get into quickly. I can't, she can. Oh so true, WIFE does her Yoga stuff, I try same stuff and cramp up.🥴

LOL, I am laughing because I hear how inflexible we all are, but I am sure if there was a problem under the layout we would all bend in non-normal ways to fix it. Of course, we would also need copious amounts of tylenol afterwards.

Wood, Volphin. Thanks for the compliments. They are appreciated those tanks are radio shack models from long ago. Sadly, only 1 of 3 will retain a charge. Never been able to figure out a battery replacement. i make videos when I have some sort of small story to tell. Will have to think of one.

Might make a replacement, new battery holder, etc., with some of the re-chargeable ones. I had an odd one for a 1950s premium, found a China replacement on the E store.

I do not. Went to a battery store. They could not identify. It is like a battery pack. The wrapping on outside has no printing on it. It is charged from a stand that has 8 AA batteries in it.
Would be happy to send a set to you if you feel challenged to investigate.
i suppose it is possible that it isn’t a battery, but a capacitor of some sort.

I missed out. I was at work moving trains and dodging Corona viruses!
We will keep the trains rolling even if it kills us...lol.

If you have a small DC Transformer and meter so you can check DC voltage as you slowly raise the voltage to the take-off wires from that battery pack until it starts to work. Then check voltage when it starts working and make yourself up a chargeable new battery pack. Again, just a thought. Its what I've done on an item I didn't know what DC voltage was needed.

Last night Trey asked us to show parts of our layout and I attempted to do that. After my attempt he asked us to do a video overview of our layouts. Today I used my cell phone and put together a video. Not a videographer by a long short and certainly not a narrator. Please excuse the quality of the video and narration, but you will see the whole kit and caboodle.
The layout is about 280 sqft surface of table top and roughly 20' by 18'. This was built over the last 13 years. It started as a 4' by 8' piece of plywood and just kept growing. The plans were made up as plywood was added and as I learned new skills from other hobbyists. It uses O27 profile track, O42 curves and Gargraves switches with some Gargraves flex track. 95% of all the engines and rolling stock are on the layout. Every piece of equipment can go on every piece of track. There are no solo tracks.
My 2 joys in the hobby are modeling and operations.

Wood,
Wonderful layout! You really convey a sense of pride in your video as you should. Great job building it over the years.
Also, the video and sound quality was excellent!
