Hi to all, I saw some pictures and I posted one of mine for test, and I found there is no way to make it bigger. the actual picture IMO is too small. AG.

Andre, you can always embed with a site like Imgur to control the picture size. That's what I use. Glad to see you posting!

I'd like to adjust the photo size as well. I suppose that using Imgur is a matter of linking the photo to a post by using its URL rather than uploading from your own device, right?
Actually I just signed up to Imgur and tried the above but it does not seem to work. Sorry to be pathetic/incompetent but could someone give an explanation of the process?

Oh Wow I did it.!!!! Go to imgur.com, open an account, click add image, click hidden, go to your login name, click, open images, click resize and choose message board, click "view and edit", pic copy BBC code, paste BBC code into your OGF post, click create post. The one big disadvantage is you are unable to click on your image and zoom to look at details.
I may do this occasionally... I do like the OGR picture input with the click and click system of looking at pics.

Just replying to myself to try Wood's instructions. I notice that the image itself does not appear in the message preview, just the pasted text. Ah, third time lucky. You have to choose the option "message boards and forums" and copy the link that is automatically generated for that option.

I am not a fan of photo hosting sites since I got burned by photobucket. After being free for years PB decided to charge a yearly fee of over $300 to post photos on third party sites such as forums. When I, and others, didn't pay the fee PB broke all links from those accounts and the photos on forums disappeared. So, no more photo hosting sites for me.

I wasn't aware of that but it explains a lot. I suppose that if you wish you can put a photo in a post twice, one uploaded to the forum and one (larger display) on an external site. The new default display size or thumbnail takes some getting used to.

I don’t like photo hosting sites either. The only issue I see with the forum is the picture viewing. The size and the fact if you click on one you can’t scroll through others if more than one is in the thread. Am I missing something

I don't think you're missing anything, Gary. I have to close each photo so I can open the next. The ability to scroll through photos in a post would be a nice feature.

am guessing the photo size imposed her may be due to amount of space they can store seeing this is a new forum and I think was created by contributions money wise so I can live with it but it would be nice to view the other way as well

Admin is working on being able to scroll from one photo to the next in a post but unfortunately it's not an easy solution. Hopefully he will have a fix soon. In the mean time having to close a photo to open the next is cumbersome but doable.
