A week or so ago I posted a picture of my new to me SD40-2 TMCC UP Desert victory locomotive.
A gentleman emailed me saying I didn't pay enough for my SD40-2 and it hurts his chance of selling his Locomotive. He was selling his for $450.00 in like new condition. (WAY TOO MUCH IMO) Apparently this guy has nothing to do but to complain of someone selling an item too cheap. I would never think of doing something like that.
Btw I deleted his email and blocked him from ever contacting me again. What a moron!!!!

He is a moron who should be marooned somewhere along with his overpriced engine.
You did the right thing blocking him, Dave.

Wow, David 1!! You can't make this stuff up! Yup, blocking and deleting his address is a great way to avert future dealings. Price is what you pay...value is what you get. Imagine this moron surfing the aisles at York, telling other vendors their prices are unfair...lol...put a die-cast something upside his head...might jolt some brain cells..lol

Train people are a strange bunch. If you've ever been to York you'll see what I mean. I can't tell you how many times I see dealers leave with the same amount they brought because they are unyielding on their prices.

You should be ashamed of yourself for giving your trains away! It affects all my shiny gold bricks hanging on my wall. I am going to email you into submission.
My brother in law saw my collection and stated in jest " OMG you should be ashamed of yourself, look at all these trains you have that is preventing other young kids from starting in the hobby". He laughed and said you should give them away.
I believe all trains deserve a good home. I am not here to make a profit. I am here to run them and have fun.

The strange part of this story is that I didn't even know him!! I have been in this hobby since the early 70's and why would he email me and tell me I bought it too cheap. The gentleman I bought it off of is a long time friend and he knew about the issues concerning the engine when built. I knew about It also but I trusted my friend to make sure it did not and he did. Plus I'm ex military and I love military themed trains.
Some people are just strange!!
