You ever get that excited feeling for a model train? Well I certainly am. We are a authorized Lionel dealer at our museum and my dad Tom Sr. got a call today from the distributor. The 5 Lionel CSX Heritage ES44AC's & 2 CSX ES44AC's I ordered are suppose to come in by end of this week. I will be sure to post photos and videos. I am very excited!!!

For the first time in years, I have a pre-order due, huge parts sale for two major projects to do this fall, and a there could be a couple of other big purchases by Christmas. Fun times.

Yes, most recently these FEC blue and yellow SD70ACe engines.

Yes I found a engine I used to have but sold it years ago and regretted it. Found a Lionel SD40-2 in desert victory from a friend who had it for sale in like new condition.
I will have it in few days and I will post a picture when I get it.
Btw- nice FEC engines Joe, I agree with tom!!

  Here is The engine I used to have and sold it off and regretted it. The 3593 desert victory SD40-2 with tmcc in like new condition. Found it online for a little less then $200.00. Dave

Dave Nope don't regret it. That year had issues with the magnet cracking and exploding on the inside of the shell. Sending metal pieces all over the place and shorting out the board. I had the same engine, and it became a dummy in less than a year.

Never had a issue with it and this one is the same. When I took it apart to inspect it and lube it, everything is fine. I figure after 22 years if it has not crumbled by now its good to go. Runs and sounds great.
There were issues back in 2002 when this was released but it was not the entire run. I know others who have this engine and they are still running.
