Thanks all, I'm looking around, finding new resources and new to O gauge. My train room is getting a facelift, then bench work to kick off the new layout. Currently gathering track, switches and all required to lay track. Picking up a few models here and there being very selective. Do not want to get ahead of myself. Happy to post a few shots of the trains & models. @ Joe Are you familiar with Orange Blossom Miami Fl by chance?

Greg, I’ve been to Miami a couple of times but I’m not familiar with it. I live in Vero Beach and don’t usually go further south than West Palm. I’ve been involved with both N and O for many years but have transitioned to mainly N since we moved to a smaller home last year and I just don’t have room for O anymore. You’ve been involved with N for many years. What prompted your change to O? Are you giving up N or going with both O and N?Greg are you dismantling the HO layout and moving to O gauge? Greg’s previous layout was N scale.

Good eye was wondering if some would notice it was N, done with it is now but a faint memory.
And without hesitation a new era begins.
Orange Blossom Hobby: 1950 went bust, left Miami 87 happened after I was gone. To bad, they had a huge inventory of all trains. Every brass O, HO and N produced from 80-87 was in the store.

I recognized the Peco switches and a couple of the buildings are definitely N scale.

I was less than happy with Peco rail, looked good. Did not run as good as it looked. Peco track has a crown, that translates into a small foot print driver to rail & constant stalling.
The first N layout I used Atlas flex track, the rail head has a flat surface, that layout ran great. I build for performance trains & cars.
I see O gauge as a more fun train to model.
