Show us your photos or videos of, locos, rolling stock, scenery, past or present. I hope to make this a weekly mid-week posting if folks are interested. Old photos from days gone by of our trains or layouts certainly welcomed. My entry this week is a Lionel Postwar B&O commuter car with a string of Lionel Postwar B&O boxcars in tow. Must needed them in a hurry down the line. Bill

OK, here's a blast from yesteryear of a carpet layout I once set up using tubular track and short radius curves the F3s were able to run on:
No scenery of course but my preference for illuminated accessories and red and green lights was already strong.

Here's a "cool" pic from the archives, at a time ten years ago when the company CEO was recovering from a busted shoulder. The layout, as usual, is a scene of vast clutter. Maybe it was excusable this go-round, lol.

My conductor would DEFINITELY NOT allow any carpet layouts (or tile since most of the house is tile). She has been more than gracious so far with understanding and even taking over all scenery but would and will not allow me to build a temp layout on the floor in any rooms. But I am OK with that as she helps so much and is so understanding. I sure love her and got the best gift ever from our Lord when he put us together!

I am still in shock seeing you did it on white carpet. YOU MUST HAVE A FANTASTIC WIFE!!!

Hmmm! Here is what my take on the photo is......You must have injured the arm picking up all those great trains!

The EMT's thought it was hilarious...me, not so much.

Awhile back I took my SMR model of the W.H. Whiton and the PSC model of the Lincoln Funeral car and posed them to match the picture from the National Archives. Archive Photo Model Photo
