I got these on Saturday. Lionel pre-war 607 tinplate Pullmans. Questions for the tinplate enthusiasts – Should each vestibule side opening have a door, and are doors hinged and spring-loaded? Alfred Attachments:

The 607/608 doors are not spring-loaded, rather a fixed component of the stamping that provides the plates, window frames, and doors. They are occasionally seen bent inward, likely the result of inquisitive kids trying to see if they move.
