We are currently closed at our museum and the reason is because I have Covid. I tested Positive earlier this week on Mon 3/4/24. I've had fever, chills, cough, runny nose, headache, diarrhea, etc. I am on Paxlovid. This is a real bump in the road again. I am so sorry for not being on OGF very much lately accept to post. I just have not been well this week.

No worries, mate...get well, and be careful. The issues of long-Covid can be misery if you don't take care of yourself.

Don’t worry, Tom. The forum will always be here! Hope you feel better soon. I know you will, you’re a model railroader after all!

Hope your vaccinations were up to date, and Paxlovid is a great fallback in any event. Yeah, COVID appears to be here to stay, but at least modern medicine has finally given us the tools to beat it back to being a mere inconvenience, rather than a deadly lottery ticket! Get well soon -- I'd like to stop by if we visit the area during the eclipse!

It will always be here. The Covid strain is just the latest derivative of the SARS outbreak (2002) and MERS outbreak (2012). It’s been around for years.

Yes it’s a version of a cold virus and this will be around for a long, long time. I had it last year, seems like this years variant is a little nastier than last years. Feel better, trains will be there when you do get better.

Have quite a few friends that contracted Covid (all vaccinated BTW) and they all recovered. Cornerfield may have hit a bump in the road of late but I'm sure that all will be OK very soon. Get better soon.
