Just remembered the wife's birthday was on March 2...I'm toast! Plan a big shindig or take her out this weekend. Tell her you pretended to forget so that you can surprise her big this weekend.

Acknowledge me. I was looking on all the calendars and no one acknowledges Traindiedel Appreciation Day. I even asked AI and it knows nothing about it. Are you sure this is a thing? Too bad I didn't find anything about it because I was going to buy you some trains. I guess I will buy them for myself instead. On the other hand, everyone has a big party the day before my birthday (my bday is the 18th). They reserve my birthday for rest, reflection and trains.

She'll never buy it. I think I'll go with "You know, we've got a wedding to pay for this year, so I just figured we're forgoing birthdays this go-round." ...nope, that'll never fly.

I guess you best bet are some flowers and an apology. Works with my wife. Most caring and understanding person I know. A "go buy yourself something nice" doesn't hurt either, but my wife already does that as she pleases.

My Day of Appreciation probably hasn’t been entered into it yet. Keep checking, it’ll show up.
Unless by AI you mean Allan Iverson, I’m sure he knows about it.
Rest, reflections and trains? I thought that was every day!

Healey36 Let me know what hospital you are in and I will send flowers. (or morgue) Curtis Unfortunately I was trying to apologize just when UPS dropped off the two new sets of router bits I'd ordered a week ago. I had to tell her it was for me, not her. I don't remember much after that. Thank God it wasn't the train part order from Dr. Tinker!
