I guess I had lucky timing, getting my Williams locomotives when I did. I landed a few diesels and a ten-wheeler steamer in a 2-3 year window and now the line has disappeared. Their prices jumped and availability shrank - what next? Who knows… I run conventional block control and have no plans for command control, so the Williams equipment suits me fine. It’s disappointing that Bachmann went this way.
Another thing….. Eggliners - why? 😉

Just for reference sake I believe that Golden Gate Depot has gone under. Really nice O scale stuff but perhaps a bit overpriced. Golden Gate is part of Third rail and I have not heard of them being out of business. Dave

They are expensive since they are high quality, accurate models made in small quantities. And usually they are one run and done.

I do a search and bring up Golden Gate Depot and the website doesn't come up. If they are still in business I must be missing something.

I believe Golden Gate Diecast has manufactured O gauge freight cars in the past for other small train distributers, possibly for Menards or RMT. Bill
