Although I didn't order as pup trailers don't fit my modeling time period, I must commend Adam on his dedication to this project. Very nicely done!

Received two UPS alerts a few days ago that labels have been created. Can actual shipping of these jewels be not-too-far behind??? Asking for a friend.

I don’t know. Could all those production pictures be “cheap fakes”?!

Indeed, they will ship very soon. Believe me, I am just as excited to ship them out as (I hope) you all are to receive them.
It has been a labor of love, but oh boy was it a labor.

... It has been a labor of love, but oh boy was it a labor. I don't doubt it!!! And I can't help but wonder if this will change the strategy going forward as to how these kinds of offerings are announced. For example, what is the cost of having the graphics applied by MTH's factory... so that the finished product is provided by MTH vs. OGF personnel customizing an undecorated model delivered by MTH.
Without being part of the process this time, my impression seems that the latter approach has certainly stretched the limits of what would be considered a practical approach. And I don't mean that in any disrespectful way. Just that it seemed particularly taxing this time. As I recall, the prior project (i.e., the OGF locomotive) also encountered challenges in the decorating process after receiving an undecorated model from MTH.
So perhaps the next offering might attempt to have MTH provide a fully finished product -- even if that requires a slightly less intense decorative approach. The company is certainly pumping out a lot of "custom run" designs these days. And some of them seem to have some fairly intricate graphics. MTH's latest custom-run PUP trailer offerings are happening as we speak, with a NOV 2024 ETA. Whereas this project has probably run close to 2 years from start to finish.
I'm sure those here in OGF-land who manage the process have thought about this. So please treat this "suggestion" for what it is... namely, I'm just talking out loud here.

This approach is actually opening up the possibilities for us. To have these in house skills means fewer limits to creativity and options.
This round was challenging for many reasons. We had to track down where the flatbeds where, the deal we had with the decaler (not MTH), and much more.
Then I had to learn how to decal, figure out which decal paper works best, etc.
Once this was all sorted and learnings were done, it became much easier and we now can have fun.
We have a few fun things in store!
On a side note, I plan to ship on Friday. Work and holiday getting in the way this week. We are also waiting on two addresses so we can get all of them out at once.

The OGF Pup Trailers went out the door Friday morning. You should start to receive them this coming week.

I will post a picture of my flatcars w/PUPs as soon as UPS decides to move the packages along. Unfortunately, they seem to be in a state of suspended animation at the local UPS depot here for the past 2 days with no movement whatsoever. Seems somewhat appropriate given the history of this project. LOL!!! So the wait continues.

Usually UPS tracking info is pretty good. But when it's amiss, it's REALLY quite puzzling -- not to mention frustrating. In particular, these two packages show arrival in my local UPS depot (which is main distribution hub for southeastern PA) as early AM hours on 7/8. We're now close to 33 hours later, and no further tracking updates -- as if the package is standing still. Now shipping progress shows nothing at all.
Technology can be a good thing... but sometimes, the information we're presented is less than accurate. And of course, the more we check in to see what's going on, the slower things move through the system.
