Lionel's Catalog art was revealed this morning, forgot where but the Polar Express is on the front so, the berks are in this catalog.

Generally speaking, I think even Lionel has gotta admit they pumped a TON of big-ticket product out the door in 2023 -- especially in 4Q. So peeps need a breather from that kind of catalog and the spending that goes along with it. Although I didn't pre-order a lot from 2023 catalogs (Lionel) and special announcements (MTH), my wallet is looking for a break in 2024 from a few goodies I purchased AFTER seeing what was delivered.
Honestly, given a couple of jewels that I'm still waiting on -- a Vision Line Triplex and a VERY overdue (2+ years) Boston & Albany Berk -- Lionel could have skipped a catalog this time, and I'd be just fine. Oh sure... there are always favorite items on my wish-list that I'd like to see offered... like a California Zephyr StationSounds diner... or a high-level set of Rocky Mountaineer full-dome cars. But I find I'm getting much more selective in my buying habits these days -- largely because the bang-for-our-buck just isn't there anymore.
