oh my hopefully this place is more friendly! hopefully my avatar is not in conflict with rules. still need to find where things are but thanks to all who created this new ogauge train website I will assume we can post if we have issues even with a forum sponsor if we have an issue buying from them please advise now thank you. can you tell me which area to post about lionel or mth and so on ogauge trains I don't see a specific one for that Twincities, welcome aboard. Our goal is to be the friendliest forum on the internet. Birthday greetings, holiday greetings, anniversary and birth announcements, etc, are welcome. Your avatar is fine as long as it's free to use, not copyright protected. it says free and no copyright or some ones name when I right click on it so all's good me thinksIf you have an issue with any product, whether or not it's from a sponsor, we would all like to know. We believe our sponsors will resolve any issues ASAP. Most threads will be in the Main O Gauge Board.

Will we have a chat room? You can hold private conversations with 1 or more members by using the Create Message function in the Messages Tab. It’s like having PMs and a Chat Room all in one tool. Very cool! Emile

I really like the new board. Though like everything else it has a learning curve. Is anyone else here using Firefox as there browser ? If so do you get this message ? I''m not sure if it's a setting at my end or the server end.
Bruce..

I've gotten a similar message on my Samsung tablet using a Chrome browser. I'm not sure what it sees but this is a safe and legitimate site. I'll ask our IT guy to look into this and see why it occasionally happens.

I'll ask our IT guy to look into this and see why it occasionally happens. We know about this and it has been corrected. Emile picked it up and notified the software people who corrected the issue yesterday. It has something to do with HTTP and the new HTTPS which is the newest and safest processing. Hopefully Emile will fill you in with more gobbletygook about how this works.
The important point is it is fixed.

Wood is correct. This issue was fixed yesterday. It was part of the process of opening the Forum. The website always had an SSL Certificate. It was just a matter of making minor adjustments to a few HTTP images before the Website could be adopted into an HTTPS site. The S in HTTPS tells you that the website is a Secure Site. If you look at the web address at the top of your browser you will see that it begins with HTTPS which is State-of-the-Art security. Emile

Thanks for welcoming me to the form, presently I am in St Louis, on contract for Boeing, I do not get to go home until Nov 22. But I have found a lot of interesting spots to explore. I found the National Museum of Transportation out here. They have a small running pike on display of O gauge. I have a video but it is rough, lots of good ideas on it though. Great to be a member and I look forward to all your updates on this hobby.
