A week and a day and we have reached 1,000 posts. This is really unbelievable and is a testimony to all of you who have made this possible.
Just a few short weeks ago, our group was sarcastically referred to as a TINY COMMUNITY and then downgraded to a TINY CLUB. 1,000 posts, sure looks to me like somebody completely misread what was just down the tracks under full throtle. When I read these comments, it made my laugh at the time, but it also incentivised me to be the best that we could be. Again, it would not have been possible without all of you.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said Brian. That small club comment made me laugh as well. You were the driving force that made OGF possible. Thank you for all the work you did.

It’s easy to reach that mark when you are having fun!
So happy to be part of this “small” club!

Lots of terrific potential here as some very familiar, well-established screen-names in the greater O-Gauge community are re-united once again.

Has to be some kind of a record for a brand new forum that was built from scratch.

This is what happens when people with sticks stand in a circle and take turns poking the bear! The amount of work and speed of that work that went on behind the scenes to create this forum was absolutely incredible. With thoughts and ideas from a talented and focused group of people something extraordinary has taken place. From the style, eye catching graphics and colors, ease of use, never been done before ideas and actions, and corporate sponsorship the O-Gauge Forum is clearly on it's way to becoming the preeminent train forum on the internet. These words are not said as a boast. They are from a sense of pride and accomplishment. One glance at our forum and the friendship and comradery shine through.
Respectfully,
Gary.

This is what happens when people with sticks stand in a circle and take turns poking the bear! Respectfully, Gary. Especially true when that bear is like a retired Indian War Chief. Chief Big Yellow Bear was unbelievable in this whole process. I’m shocked at how quickly Brian was able to rally the troops, recruit the best Sponsors and get this Forum from an idea to reality. General Patton never moved so quickly! While Wood and I were trying to figure out how to make it happen, Brian was already making it happen...and our old friends were left to wonder: “What Happened?” Thanks Brian! Best Quarterback ever! When I saw us go over the 1,000 post mark yesterday afternoon, it was like a flashback as to what happened over the past seven weeks. With the encouragement I receeived to charter a different course, those seven weeks flew by as there was much to accomplish to make this all fit togther so quickly. I learned a lomng time ago in business that id you suround your self with good people, good results will follow. This project was a textbook example of what can be achieved when dedicated folks put their collecive minds to get it done.
Much to look forward to in the future. We have a wonderful opportuinty to be a very important part of the model railraoding forum community.

"CHIEF BIG YELLOW BEAR"
What's not to like about that title.
