Hello Everyone at OGF. Automobiles on a train layout can be a lot of fun and a hobby unto itself, especially when searching for the right year and history for your layout. Some of our vehicles are parked in front of our model buildings, or driving on the streets of our layouts, or being carried by flatcars and auto carriers. Today I would like to have some fun and start a new weekly thread for O-scale cars called...........FRIDAY NIGHT at the CAR HOP

Great thread Joe. We only have collected about 20 vehicles so far. We will be searching far and wide for a while I'm sure. Looking forward to many posts!
Regards,
Gary.

Thanks Joe for starting this new feature for the OGF. What I like best is we get to select our favorite vehicle of the week and tell a little story about it. I hope many of our OGF members get "on board" and share stories and photos of theri layout vehicles.
I love the 50's as the best decade for innovation in vehicle dersigns. The more chrome, the better. Most of our layout cars are all realted to thsi decade.
This model of a Buick is a favorite. It is seven years old and my wife Elizabeth gave it to me as a Christmas present. Everybody knows that I like yellow, so no surprise, this is a yellow one as well. It is a Brooklin model that the vendor had custom painted. Hope you like it as well.

Brooklin Models are my favorites for an O-Gauge model railroad.

Vehicles make such a difference on a layout. They add so much realism to it.
Upcoming York Meet, more taxi cabs.

This will be a great Feature Thread Joe! I'll start with a European Circus Advertising car. I just think it's so interesting and I can almost hear the sound from the roof top speakers. Emile

Hi GUYZ, I posted these photos of the Batmobile they came in the little picture upside down but when you click on the picture it enlarges right side up. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the input I used the Add Attachment.
Batman!
