Here are the others from my collection. MTH PS1 0-6-0 NYC - Sturdy, reliable strong puller. MTH PS3 B&M SW9 - Probably my favorite! MTH PS3 RS-3 NYC - What's not to like! Lionel LionChief RS-3 B&M - Wrong shade of red by Lionel, but I still enjoy this engine. Williams 44-tonner CN (Great taste firewood!) And a couple of Postwar, including the NW-2 aforementioned bell ringer that Joe loves and a "cute" motorized unit switcher in New Haven.

I use to have a RS-3. One of the things I wish I had kept.

Post by Adam on 8 hours ago Ive got one of the bell ringing switchers. Adam, Thanks for sharing the video. That is the first time I have heard a bell on a lionel post war engine. Alfred

While not just a switcher Alco’s RS engines did it all from switching to mainline freight and passenger service and everything in between. Mine is a New York Central RS-1.

Switchers, yeah I have a few.
There are 3 Alco S-2 switchers that I had repainted for Weirton Steel. Number 207 & 208 are ex-Lionel Western Pacific (TMCC). Number 203 is an ex-Lionel Chicago & Northwestern (Legacy).

You did an outstanding job painting these engines, George. 👍

Southern SW7 Lion Chief Plus was difficult to find, found this one a few years ago. Maybe another will show itself.

My favorite switcher must be the post war Lionel 627 Lehigh Valley GE44, since it is the only switcher I have (frowning face) I will feature it at some point in a photo or video heading a consist that I have wanted to put together for a long time. Alfred . At the sac trainmet I also picked up a Lionel postwar 625 LV in great shape, looks like c-7 for only $ 40. It runs great, eBay prices were 100-125 for that switcher.
