Right now I'm running legacy with my cab1 and does cab1L have any benefits over the cab 1 system? Right now I can use my Universal remote or the Lionchief app.
I know I'm missing out on some of things legacy can do like start up and some others but if cab1L can improve some things it may be worth it for me to get.
I don't plan on getting the base3 or the WiFi app. For my smaller layout.

All my antennas of my cab1's are there except those tiny screw caps but they work. Of course if I see Brian anytime soon I may stick one of them in his ear! (HA,HA YOU THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO SAY SOMEWHERE ELSE) man your wrong all the time.

The CAB1L does have some additional features as pointed out. However the complete system remote and base are longer being produced by Lionel. Lionel is only producing the remote even though they can produce the base but choose not to do so. Currently the going price for the complete system if you could find one is over $400.00 and up. The CAB1L remote is available and as low as $139.00 on eBay but the base is not to be found.
