Can't wait till your done with construction but one question, how well will the residents put up with rockets going off!! I mean your not out in the country or is just for tourists. Whatever you do it is really cool, less explosions of course.

My layout has zero government oversight.

Going to shake and rattle the neighborhood. Wear hearing protection and have fire extinguishers handy on your first launch. Just in case. Also check your home insurance to see if launching a rocket in your home is covered.

I LOVE that Video. I have always wanted to see up close and this is the FIRST time I have ever seen anything like this. FANTASTIC!
And as far as the homes that sacrificed, Opps.

Hey Curtis I think you meant, oops or is it opps!!! The Saturn 5 rocket is amazing, the sound must be deafening. Dave Of course living in Florida and a 2 1/2 hr drive, one must see one of the launches. We were lucky to witness 2 shuttle launches there and one from the beach here. Believe me they are loud and you can feel them. We were lucky to watch the Saturn launch of Apollo 17 which was also a night launch early in the morning. It was Dec 7, 1972, ( I can't remember if it was also to remember Pearl Harbor, or just a coincidence when the launch took place early in the morning around 1AM). We were in the parking lot of the Motel across the Bay and believe me it turned into daylight and things rattled. all the picture we took turned out blurry. The Motel Manager gave each guest a glass of Champagne to celebrate the launch and told everyone to lift a toast once it cleared the tower. That glass shook as she took off as we all did and felt a rush of hot air come across the bay to us. Something you never forget once seen and felt.

One of my real profound regrets is not having had an opportunity to go to Cape Canaveral to see a Saturn V launch. I do remember being glued to the TV to see launches. Alfred

I agree, if you are ever in the area go to see a launch in person. It's super impressive and very different than watching on TV, plus the Kennedy Space Center is a great place to visit. We live about an hour and a half south and took our daughter-in-law and two granddaughters to see a launch in 2017. There's very heavy traffic on launch day when you get close and the Center is fairly crowded but it's well worth the effort.
