This is the main station on my layout. Well, that's a dead ringer for the new MTH lighted station I posted about on another thread - except for the colors and the additional LEDs. It is the exact same station, decorated differently, as the one you posted about. MTH has made this station in various colors with some including Christmas lights. It’s been a very successful product for them.

Here's one of 3, my favorite. Second pic is were I added gooseneck light and station signs to both ends. Momence, Illinois, on the station sign gets my vote too! Town I grew up in. I'm also the Administrator for its History Web site. Its a railroad town and farming community.

So happy that Emile posted his famous train station. He is such an inspiration to me.

I do not have a train station on the layout yet; however, I do have a place for one - on the Eastside of the East Loop, along a stretch of 72 radius track. I have the track wired so that I can toggle insulated track sections off to automatically stop the train. A passenger train stopped at this location would likely look good. More work to do before the station is considered. Alfred

Thanks, Joe. Best train station I have ever worked with. A lot of credit goes to the Big Crab Cake Emile. He came up with the idea to add a base to his GCT. He got Trainworx to do it at a fair price, but they would not deal with me in a similar fashion. Drove me to look elsewhere. In any event, it is the base that makes the GCT spectacular.
Our two versions are probably the best two GCT installations in the entire O-Gauge world. Both are better than what is installed in the real-world GCT in NYC at Christmastime. That's saying something.

Trainworx did a mini GCT. I don't care for it as it is disproportional.
