I just looked at the calendar and the train show at the Big E is coming up this weekend.
As their web site says: "The Railroad Hobby Show is the largest railroad-themed trade show in America. The event occupies 400,000 square feet in four buildings on the Eastern States Exposition fairgrounds."
I was looking over the exhibit list and it is very impressive. O gauge manufactures Atlas, MTH and Lionel will be there and I intend to visit all three.
Several large and familiar retailers will also be there:
Grzyboski Train Store
Hobby Connection - Lionel
Mianne Bench Work
Mega-Steam/Get Real Productions
Nassau Hobby Center
Scenic Express Inc
Trainworld
Trainz.com
I am sure I missed a few but it is impressive. This will be my first visit to the Big E and thankfully the weather looks great for the show. Anyone else going?

The Amherst train show is excellent and worth attending. When I lived in the Mid Hudson Valley in NY I attended almost every year.

Never attended as it is too far for me. I have heard it is a great show but also heard it includes ALL gauges. I just attended Oaks Greenberg show ans was very disappointed as it was almost all HO with some N and Very very little O or G Gauges.

Never attended the show, but I drove by the venue on my way to attend my niece's graduation at Dartmouth a several years. Easy ride... all highway. Perhaps some day, but not this year.
I'm pretty spoiled with Allentown ATMA and York just 1 hour and 2 hours away, respectively... twice each year. So I attend York as an enthusiast, and I hold down a few tables to thin out my collection at Allentown (which is just a month away on Feb 25/26). You will NOT be disappointed at Allentown ATMA. It's usually packed on Saturday AM. Last November, the early-bird line to get in at the main entrance wrapped around to the back of the building. Always a great show.

Actually I have attended the Allentown First Frost and Spring Thaws several times. My wife is from Allentown. We use to go up to visit mom till we moved her in with us. Then her brother had the house till we got the call on January 3rd 2022. 10:00 pm at night. Lehigh County Coroner. Evidently he died around Thanksgiving (judging by mail unopened). Was not a pleasant experience. My hat's off and gratitude to Allentown Fire Dept, Allentown Police Dept and the county coroner. What a mess and what a long stretched out ordeal. My wife is now last one of family other than an uncle.

I don’t know how many trains I will buy at the show but one thing I am looking forward to is meeting representatives from Atlas, Lionel and MTH.

I got great news this morning. I will be going to the show this weekend! I will be there on Sunday. If anyone one else will be there Sunday let me know. Maybe we can meet.
Can’t wait! I will be hunting for some accessories for a new area of the layout that I am planning.

It was great show! Vary large crowds, even when I left people were still coming in. I had a chance to stop by the Atlas, MTH and Lionel displays. Rich Foster was open to any and all ideas for future runs. There were flyers advertising advertising a train show at the Dorval Arena in Montreal June 3-4 2023. I have never been to a show in Canada so I am going to try to make a trip to Montreal .
