Me either. Found this video on YouTube. It would be really cool to see a military consist like this in person though.

Cool video, thanks Adam. I’m another one that’s never seen a military train in real life.
A train running on a street seems like a very stupid idea.

Here are two books that you may find interesting. Alfred The first is very informative -I have it in special audio format for the blind, and I don’t know how available it is in regular print. Railroading i n Eighteen Countries: The Story of American Railroad Men Serving in the Military Railway Service, 1862 to 1953 Maj.-Gen. Carl R. Gray In hardcover: United States Military Railway Service: America's Soldier-Railroaders in WWII – June 1, 1992 By Don Deevi and Bob Hall

...and, if you would like a first person account of running trains during war time I would recommend Southern Railroad Man: Conductor N.J. Bell's recollections of the Civil War era - N.J. Bell with editing by James Ward - published Northern Illinois University Press 1994.

My son is in the Army on a tank crew. he was in his glory when he had to drive his tank onto a flat car for maneuvers in California. He gets to do it again as he's getting deployed to Europe in a month.

LOL, the tanks dwarf any vehicle on that street.
