Looking at Woodland Scenics Track-Bed. Curious members’ experience with this product. Any suggestions for other products I should also consider? (Have seen older posts on Flexxbed but can’t find it online)

I tried looking it up and all I could find was Woodland Scenics. They may be out of business.

I used it on my upper level which is little more than a piece of plywood on a frame. I was worried about the vibration noise on that level.
Takes a bit of effort around the curves but not to hard to use. Seems to have reduce the noise pretty well. Decent product, but I really cant compare to other common options.
BTW, I am using tubular track.

I've used both the 2 foot sections and the roll. You will have to glue it down on curves, I do not like the way it tends to bunch up on the inside of corners (without glue), even with the inner and outer curves split. Having run a decibel meter on various layout sections there is little difference between having it down on plywood and not. On the next layout I'll just put the track down (on something other than plywood probably baltic birch) and ballast the ties. One problem is when screwing the track down, the bed being foam it can be compressed differently with each tie screw, making for uneven track and potential derailments for finnicky engines/cars. Used on Ross and Gargraves track. Saw an "expert" use HO cork roadbed split and laid against the ties to produce the slope. Seems like way too much work when you can do the same with just the ballast and the right touch. The photo shows how the foam bunches - not glued down. Ballast goes down fine. Outer curves are 072 dia or larger and inner are 042 dia or larger.
