Eddie, it is nice that you are reminding of the fall date for the O gauge train meet faithful. York will still be the largest O Gauge show but it is changing.

I'm already studying how to follow the arrows and dodge the powerchair pilots running into anybody! LOL!

I'm counting down for April's Meet. I'll miss October because of a family wedding. 50 other weeks in the year and our niece had to pick this one! I'm actually looking forward to the gathering, I just wish it wasn't the same weekend as the Meet!
I'll just have to shop online that week.

I'm already studying how to follow the arrows and dodge the powerchair pilots running into anybody! LOL! Hey! I'm a powerchair pilot. People walk around and don't watch were they're going so I don't slow down. One guy stopped right in front of me like I wasn't there. If I see something I want I'm not going to go all the way around just to get to it.

Traindiesel
Sorry to hear you are going to miss York but happy to hear you are attending a wedding with great people to gather with! Some families are not so lucky!
Also thanks for the post about EARLY REGISTRATION! Luckily I registered last week.
You will be missed for sure but have fun and remember all us poor souls throwing away all our hard earned money because we HAVE to buy what we see and like! I for one can tell you I have several pieces, that like Denny, I can not run due to clearance issues so those HAVE TO HAVE IT'S are shelf queens!

Between paying property taxes and a couple of large bills, I'm won't be going for at least a year maybe more.

I have gone to only one train show; quite a few years ago - the local Greenberg Show in Timonium, MD. I am interested in going to York; it's only about 75 minutes away. Can anyone recommend any particular sellers that specialize in post war Lionel accessories? I am interested in getting some that make sounds - like the ringing bell signal, and others that I don't yet know about. I am blind and position accessories around my layout to alert me to where the trains are. Any suggestions about vendors, and recommendations about choice of accessories. Judging from what I have heard , I plan to leave my credit cards at home and come with a limited amount of cash. Alfred

Alfred Most of the postwar will be in the members halls, but you have to belong to the TCA to enter them. Last time they combined the dealers into the Orange Hall. I think Friday is the only day the public has access.

Thanks, Eddie for the reminders! Oh yeah...each day approaching York my hair gets greyer. And to wear my steel tipped boots for power chair collisions with my toes!

Thank you Denny for the heads-up about the Friday public day. Alfred I'm thinking Saturday too, but don't quote me on that.
