I was finally able to find time to open the items I picked up from Roundhouse South last week. These are all MTH Railking. UP Caboose. Great detail and a much needed caboose for my growing UP freight consist. B&M tanker. I was surprised at the detail and quality of this car. It really stands out! Santa Fe boxcar. Very neat artwork. NYC 42nd St. Melons reefer. Fun car! Picked up a second B&M hopper. Yes, it is the same number as the first one I got but that doesn't bother me. I really enjoy this car and needed another to fill out the consist.

Adam, you picked up some really nice rolling stock at Roundhouse South. I wish I could have met you there. Maybe next year.
Duplicate car numbers don’t bother me either. When the trains are running on the layout I can’t read the car numbers and wouldn’t even think to try.

Some nice finds Adam and I'm with you and Joe on the numbering. The craziest set I have is 4 army flats with different numbers yet the four tanks they carry are all number 58.

Country Joe is leaving us in suspense about his upcoming delivery. I have not purchased any equipment lately - just had some repairs done within the last few months. I have only purchased small repair items - front and back piece for a crossing gate, a lantern for a 145 gateman, some trestle pieces to level a graduated track section, some barrels, bulbs and lanterns for O22 switches. The repairs go on. I have boxes of equipment that I will enjoy running. Alfred

I am also in suspense. I know what is coming but don't know when it's coming. I look for it to be delivered each day but have been skunked so far.

Just left Roundhouse South. Dangerous place! Picked up five pieces of rolling stock, all MTH Railking. Union Pacific Caboose NYC 42nd Street Melons Reefer B&M hopper. SantaFe 40’ Doubledoor boxcar. B&M tank car Pictures next week when I get home. Had to drag myself out of the store before I got myself into more trouble. Roundhouse South is a really good train store. It’s lots of fun but easy to spend a lot of money.

Picked up an intermodal car today. A B&O tofc car with two pups. A nice bargain at about 1/3 the going rate on EBay. Just needed a quick cleaning with some hot water and a tooth brush… Tom
