My wonderful wife got me the rest of the set for my Premier MTH Milwaukee Road Passenger cars. That gives me a set of nine cars. Wow O' WOW. Thank you Vicky. Don

Some guy on E-bay had four brand new ones. The photos were totally washed out and they looked like they had sat in the sun for weeks. She wrote him and he told her they were brand new and he would take them back if she didn't like them. They are new and beautiful. I think no one bid on them because of the photos. These are very hard to find. There were many versions of these cars but the last set is by far the best. I now have all the cars. Don

Josef, no wonder that car didn't roll very well. You mean the wheels go on the bottom? Don

Did you pay the large shipping charge you mentioned a few weeks ago, or buy it from someone else?

My wife got it from someone else. The shipping for four cars was free. We had been looking for the set for a long time. There are so many different MTH versions of these cars. Some with black tops, some with a bottom maroon line on the sides. Some with maroon trucks. Some with no black outline on the "Milwaukee Road" sides, and some with no painted hand rails. As far as I know, this set was the last set made and I think the best. Don

Thanks Craignor, We looked every morning and evening on a number of different sale sights. I was tempted more than once to go for another version, thinking there is no way to get all the matching cars. I have two MTH little Joe's to pull these cars. It should be a wonderful train when I get the layout running. Of Course the Joe's will be running under wire. Don

Her Pop worked for the Southern Pacific, she has to love trains. We did this trip for a Birthday about twelve years ago. Zephyr cars are the best. Don
